NUKL — Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
1) Introduction
Welcome to NUKL (“we”, “us”, “our”). This document includes:
- Privacy Policy (how we collect/use/share data)
- Terms of Service (rules for using the app)
By using NUKL, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2) Definitions
- “App” / “Service” — NUKL mobile application and related services.
- “User” — anyone using the App.
- “Account” — your authenticated user profile in the App.
- “Content” — information you provide (profile data, feedback, ratings, etc.).
- “Match” — an event listed in the App that users can join/leave.
- “Venue / Field” — a location/ground displayed in the App.
- “Push Notifications” — messages sent to your device.
PART A — PRIVACY POLICY
3) What data we collect
We collect data in the following categories:
3.1 Account and identity data
- Sign-in information via Apple Sign-In and/or Google (typically an identifier and basic profile fields such as name/email, depending on what the provider shares and what you allow).
- Your email (if available) for account-related communication.
- A unique internal user identifier.
3.2 Profile data you provide
Profile details such as name, avatar/photo, preferred position/role, and any other optional profile fields you enter.
3.3 Match and participation data
- Matches you view, join, leave, or interact with.
- Participation status, timestamps, and related activity records.
3.4 Location-related data (if enabled)
- Approximate or precise location (depending on your OS permission choice) to show relevant matches/venues near you.
- You can typically use the app with limited functionality if you deny location permissions (depending on your setup).
3.5 Device and technical data
- Device identifiers and technical signals (e.g., device model, OS version, app version).
- Push notification token (e.g., FCM/APNs token) to deliver notifications.
- Diagnostic data such as crash logs and performance information (if enabled on device / via integrated tooling).
3.6 User feedback and ratings
- Feedback you submit (text, category, attachments if any).
- Ratings/reviews for completed matches (where available).
3.7 Payments (only if applicable)
If the app includes paid matches or any payments:
- We may store purchase status and transaction-related metadata needed for access control, accounting, or support.
- We do not store full payment card details. Payments are processed by the platform providers (Apple/Google) and/or third-party payment processors, depending on your implementation.
NUKL currently does not process payments.
4) How we use your data
We use data to:
- Provide core functionality (accounts, profiles, match listings, joining/leaving matches).
- Show venues/fields and relevant matches, including location-based results (if enabled).
- Send important notifications (e.g., match updates, reminders, cancellations, status changes).
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce rules.
- Improve the app (analytics, debugging, quality improvements).
- Provide user support and respond to requests.
5) Legal bases (for GDPR-style compliance, if applicable)
We process data based on:
- Contract / providing the Service (to deliver app features)
- Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the Service)
- Consent (where required, e.g., location permission, notifications)
- Legal obligations (if applicable)
6) How we share your data
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data with:
6.1 Service providers (processors)
Vendors that help us run the Service, such as:
- Authentication providers (Apple, Google)
- Backend/database and hosting providers (e.g., Supabase or similar)
- Push notification delivery services (e.g., Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- Analytics/diagnostics (if integrated)
These providers process data on our behalf under contractual and security obligations.
6.2 Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose data if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
6.3 Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
7) Data retention
We retain data only as long as needed for:
- providing the Service,
- complying with legal obligations,
- resolving disputes and enforcing agreements.
7.1 Account deletion & 30-day retention window (soft delete)
When you request account deletion:
- Your account may be deactivated and scheduled for deletion.
- Within 30 days, we may allow account restoration (for safety and error recovery).
- After the retention period, we delete or anonymize sensitive personal data associated with the account, except what must be kept for legal, security, or accounting reasons (if applicable).
- We may retain limited non-identifying data (e.g., aggregated analytics) that cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
7.2 Backups
Data may persist in backups for a limited period, then is overwritten according to routine backup cycles.
8) Your choices and controls
- Notifications: You can enable/disable push notifications in device settings.
- Location: You can deny or revoke location permission in device settings.
- Profile: You can update profile info in the app.
- Deletion: You can request deletion in the app (or by contacting us).
9) Your privacy rights (GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA where applicable)
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- access your data,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- object to processing,
- portability,
- restrict processing.

10) Children’s privacy
NUKL is not intended for children under 13 (or higher age where required by law).
We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to delete it.
11) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data. However, no method is 100% secure.
12) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will provide notice in-app or via other appropriate means. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest version.
PART B — TERMS OF SERVICE
13) Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under the required age, do not use the App.
14) Accounts and authentication
- You are responsible for maintaining control of your device and sign-in methods.
- You agree to provide accurate information where required.
- We may suspend accounts involved in abuse, fraud, or violations.
15) The Service: matches, venues, and participation
NUKL helps users discover and participate in matches and view venues/fields.
15.1 Venue and match information
- We aim to keep information accurate, but match details can change.
- We are not responsible for third-party venue conditions, availability, or quality.
15.2 User responsibility & safety
You agree to:
- behave respectfully,
- follow local laws and venue rules,
- prioritize personal safety.
We are not responsible for injuries, disputes, or incidents occurring at matches/venues.
16) Community rules (Prohibited conduct)
You must not:
- harass, threaten, discriminate, or abuse others,
- post illegal, violent, sexual, or hateful content,
- impersonate others or provide misleading info,
- attempt to hack, scrape, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service,
- use the Service for spam or unauthorized advertising.
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend/terminate accounts for violations.
17) User content (profile, feedback, ratings)
You may submit content such as profile details, avatar, feedback, and ratings.
You represent that:
- you have the rights to upload the content,
- it does not violate laws or third-party rights.
You grant us a limited license to use your content to operate, display, and improve the Service (e.g., showing your profile/ratings in the app).
18) Payments, fees, refunds (use this section if paid matches exist)
If the App involves payments:
- Prices and fees will be displayed before purchase.
- Refunds and billing are handled according to the platform/provider policies (Apple/Google) and/or payment processor, unless otherwise required by law.
- We may enforce rules about cancellations and no-shows if applicable.
NUKL does not currently process payments.
19) Third-party services and links
The App may integrate third-party services (sign-in providers, maps, push notifications, hosting, analytics). We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control. Their terms and policies may apply.
20) Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, including features and supported regions.
21) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or that match/venue information will always be accurate.
22) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the relevant period, or a minimal statutory amount where required.
23) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
24) Termination
- You can stop using the app at any time and request account deletion.
- We may suspend or terminate access if you violate Terms, misuse the Service, or for security reasons.

OPTIONAL APPENDIX — Account deletion steps (store-friendly)
How to delete your account
You can request account deletion:
- In the App: Settings → Account → Delete Account
- or
- By email: support@nukleball.com with subject “Account Deletion Request”
After requesting deletion, your account may be deactivated and scheduled for deletion. Sensitive personal data is deleted or anonymized after 30 days, except where retention is required by law or security.
